Fishing

Chaparral Lake and Eldorado's North Lake are stocked by AZ Game & Fish throughout the year. During the cooler months, October to March, the lake is stocked twice each month with trout (11 to 14 inches each - bag limit four fish). During the warmer months, April to July and September to October, the lake is stocked twice each month with catfish (1.5 to 2 pounds each - bag limit four fish). There are also periodic stockings of sunfish (four to nine inches each - bag limit 10 fish) throughout the year. Stockings cease in late July to early September due to excessive temperatures.
