Portion Indian Bend Wash Multiuse Path Near Osborn Road Closed for Improvements
Improvements to a section of multiuse pathway adjacent to the Continental Golf Club are underway. Construction will take place between the 3rd St. and Earll Drive alignments and path entrances; work is scheduled Monday – Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The path will be closed approximately two months during construction.
The work includes replacing the existing path surface with new concrete, widening the path from 8 to 10 feet, and applying fresh striping in the area. The bike and pedestrian bridge over Osborn Road is not included in this project; however, the bridge will be closed during construction to allow crews access to the bridge entrances.
Cyclists and pedestrians should follow detour signs along the path directing traffic onto Miller Road using 78th and 2nd streets and Pinchot Drive. We appreciate your cooperation during construction as we work to improve the city’s more than 125 miles of multiuse path amenities.
