FY 2023/2024 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report

The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), covering the fiscal year July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds the city of Scottsdale received from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has been completed and is available for review Sept. 11, 2024 through Sept. 26, 2024 at the City of Scottsdale Housing and Community Assistance office, 6535 E. Osborn Road – Building 8, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and through the city’s website. This report includes the accomplishments of projects and activities undertaken during the year.

Written comments may be directed to Chad Beougher, Community Development Supervisor, at the above address or by email. The CAPER will be submitted to HUD, Community Planning and Development Phoenix Office, for review and approval on Sept. 27, 2024. The city of Scottsdale’s annual assessment for prior program year 2022 (July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023) is also available for review at the Housing and Community Assistance office. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The City of Scottsdale receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funds are provided on a formula basis to entitlement communities to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments and/or by expanding economic opportunities, primarily for low and moderate income persons.

The Community Assistance Office (CAO) works with the Human Services Commission and City Council to allocate CDBG funds on an annual basis.

The HOME Program is funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
