The City Attorney’s Office Prosecution Department’s primary mission is to do justice, protect the community and support victims. The Prosecution Department is responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor and certain civil offenses that occur within the City of Scottsdale, including but not limited to domestic violence, assault, disorderly conduct, threats and intimidation, theft, city ordinance violations, DUI and other traffic violations, certain juvenile offenses including status offenses and other misdemeanor crimes.
