New Planning and Permitting Portal is Coming Soon

Starting in January 2026, Scottsdale’s Planning and Development customers will begin using a new online portal for all projects requiring a permit.

Scottsdale SPUR (Smart Planning, Use and Regulations) will provide customers with a user-friendly interface in which to submit development requests, plans, payments and other documents for city processing.

Fire department staff is your resource if you are involved in residential or commercial new construction or renovations. Fire staff conducts inspection and provides other resources to homeowners and professionals in the construction field.
