The City of Scottsdale Jail is located at:
Downtown Scottsdale Police Station (District 2)

Scottsdale, AZ 85251The jail can be accessed from the second floor of the Civic Center Library parking garage.
- Hours:
Jail Court hours are 9 a.m. - noon and can vary based on number of initial appearances.
- Parking:
Primary parking is located on the second floor of the Civic Center Library parking garage behind the jail, 3737 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
Secondary parking is located in the Scottsdale City Court parking lot, 3703 N 75th St.
Posting Bonds
Scottsdale City bonds can be posted during the work week and work hours at City Court. After hours and Holidays, the bond can be posted at the Jail Release Area located behind the City Court Building.
Other jurisdictions bonds can be posted at the City Jail if the person is still at the City Jail. The amount of the bond must be the exact amount in cash that is stated on the warrant. The paper-bonds are accepted through a bail bondsman.
Jail Dormitory Program
Scottsdale offers a program for people convicted of a non-violent misdemeanor and sentenced to serve 48-hours or less in one consecutive period. Our facility contains two eight-bed rooms that are available 365 days a year.

If you are refused or released for any reason prior to completely serving your sentence, you will not be given credit for your time served and no refund will be issued. You are responsible for contacting the originating court.

Reservation Requirements
Check-in time is 7 a.m. daily. You must report on your scheduled date with valid government issued photo ID and defendant’s copy of the confinement or commitment order issued by the sentencing court stating they can serve their time in Scottsdale City Jail. If you arrive late, you will not be accepted.
You will be denied entry into the jail if you:
- are sick, injured, or intoxicated
- do not have the proper paperwork or identification
- have had any alcohol 24 hours prior to your confinement (subject to a breath test)
- attempt to enter the jail facility with any items not pre-approved
- attempt to enter the jail facility with any weapons or contraband
Dorm Restrictions
The Scottsdale Jail Facility does not have onsite medical staff.
- Any individual desiring to serve their 24/48-hour confinement must not require taking any prescribed medication during their stay.
- Individuals that require a special diet will not be accepted.
Personal Belongings
Detention staff reserves the right to prohibit any item whether on the acceptable or prohibited list.
All persons and items entering the jail are subject to search.

- reading material (limit two books/magazines)
- one layer of clothing (multiple layers will not be allowed)
- toothpaste and toothbrush
- playing cards
- cell phone (will be placed in property)
- Prohibited items
- purse or backpack
- tablet, computer, headphones
- valuables (jewelry, piercings, etc.)
- additional toiletries or clothing
- food or beverages including bottled water
- medication or supplements
