Parks and Recreation summer camps offer dynamic, enriching recreational opportunities for youth. The activities conducted in the camps will contribute to the physical, social and mental growth of each participant.

General Information

  • Program available for youth in grades 1 - 8, depending on location.
  • All participants must wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes and bring their own lunch.
  • Youth must be the appropriate age by the first day of each session.
  • All camps are drop-in format and are not licensed childcare programs.
  • Limited financial assistance is available to Scottsdale residents.

Scottsdale's Summer Camp (1st-5th Grade)

Registration opens for Residents April 13; Non-Residents April 16.

This summer, Scottsdale’s Summer Camps invite children to celebrate our city’s 75th anniversary with a journey through time. Each week highlights a different decade, from the 1950s to an imagined 2050, through themed activities, creative projects, games, and hands-on experiences.

Campers enjoy structured daily activities including art, sports, music, STEM challenges, and weekly excursions, all in a safe, welcoming environment designed to help kids learn, play, and build friendships.

The registration cost is $1,216 for the full summer or $160 a week.

Scottsdale's Summer Camp (6th-8th Grade)

Scottsdale’s Teen Camps offer dynamic, enriching experiences for teens entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in Fall 2026. Our goal is to provide a safe, upbeat space where teens can stay active, build friendships, and develop real-world skills.

Daily rotations include leadership and teamwork challenges, creative art projects, sports and fitness, fun excursions, and other hands-on activities designed to build confidence and keep teens engaged all summer long.

The registration cost is $1,216 for the full summer or $160 a week.

Pima Summer Sports Camp

This fun sports program is led by experienced recreation professionals and is appropriate for students going into 1st-5th grades. Participants will be divided into groups according to age.

The registration cost is $608 for the full summer or $80 a week.

Endless Summer - Excursion Camp

Join us the last week of summer for an excursion packed week of programs. Participants will go on an excursion every day! Price includes lunch and a snack every day. This camp is open to students going into 3rd-7th grades.

The registration cost is $325.
