Ballroom Dancing
Join us for drop-in ballroom dancing sessions. No advance registration needed. Every second and fourth Thursday of each month. Live music, refreshments and raffle included. No dance instruction, and recommended to bring a dance partner.
Granite Reef Senior Center second and fourth Thursday of each month $8.00 Fee per person.
Line Dancing
This volunteer facilitated drop-in group coordinated by senior services at Granite Reef Senior Center. Line dancing is free with no advance registration. No required experiences needed. This session is mixed with beginners and advance skills. Dance at your own pace. Ten dances for each session. Instructor walks though the steps before each dance. Music genres include Country, Jazz, Broadway, and Rock & Roll.
Jean Ann is our Line Dancing Instructor.

Senior Softball
Scottsdale Senior Services offers senior softball coordinated by vetted city volunteers. Senior softball group meets every Tuesday and Friday all year along. Throughout the year, the ball fields change due to field Maintenance. Email Geoff Gerstel for more information.

Warmups at 7 a.m., games start at 7:30 a.m.
Winter Hours: Oct. 7 - April 30

Billiards

Both Granite Reef Senior Center and Via Linda Senior Center have phenomenal billiards room with four 9 ft. Gold Crown Tables. Drop-in play is free and open to the public during normal business hours of operations at each facility.
Billiards Rooms will be closed to public during Billiards Lessons at Via Linda Senior Center on Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-8 p.m.
Billiards lessons are hosted year-round. Each session is 10 weeks hosted at Via Linda billiards instructor Paul Grande. $150(R)/$200(NR). Check out the next class sessions.
Table Tennis
Open Table Tennis is available at both Granite Reef Senior Center and Via Linda Senior Center at various times throughout the week. Table Tennis equipment can be checked out at each center.

Arts & Crafts
Arts & Crafts with Wayne
Come get your creative juices flowing. Weekly Arts & Crafts. There will always be something you can create and take home. Beadwork, gel printing, birdhouse painting, art wood chimes, painting on canvases, and more. Let's get flowing! Program is coordinated by city volunteer.
Last Friday of every month. 1-2:30 p.m. at Via Linda Senior Center.

Open Art Studio
During the time, the art room will be made available for you to explore your creative side. This is a self-led program open to painters, illustrators and crafters alike.

Walking Club
Granite Reef Senior Center
Come walk with Granite Reef staff. Meet outside of Granite Reef Senior Center entrance and walk around the beautiful Scottsdale neighborhood. Wednesday 9-10 a.m.
Via Linda Senior Center
Come walk with Scottsdale Police Crime prevention team. Meet outside the lobby entrance and walk Scottsdale Ranch Park and Desert Garden. Tuesdays 8-9 a.m.
