Homeowners Association Program
Scottsdale Water offers assistance to Homeowners Associations (HOAs) across the city through its Water Conservation HOA Program. HOA common area landscapes tend to be high water users and have great potential for water savings and irrigation improvements. This free service helps communities discover the best ways to efficiently water their landscapes and helps HOAs save water (and money)!
Once an HOA implements water saving measures, it will remain crucial for them to keep a close eye on their ongoing water use. With Conservation’s help, communities have found significant savings by altering their landscape watering schedules, converting to desert-friendly plants, and identifying and correcting inefficiencies within their irrigation system.
Because each HOA is unique, Conservation may meet with board/committee members, property managers and/or community landscaper(s) to learn about their landscape and irrigation issues. Based on the information gathered during these meetings, Conservation can help communities develop water-efficient strategies and recommend ways to save.
